We're hiring staff for Mister Morris, a high-end hair salon located in Hyde Park, Adelaide.

The pay is great: Approximately $30 per hour PLUS 10-20% commission. So, if you work full-time hours, there’s the potential to earn well over $100k per year.

The pay is great: Approximately $30 per hour PLUS 10-20% commission. So, if you work full-time hours, there’s the potential to earn well over $100k per year.
That being said, this salon is open to hiring full-time, part-time or even providing space in the salon for freelancers. The owner is a big believer in work-life balance and offers a lot of flexibility with working arrangements.
There are so many additional perks, including 5 weeks of paid annual leave, paid trips overseas for fashion weeks, education & training paid for, birthdays off etc. But we'll be happy to talk more about all this during the interview stage. As you can see, it’s an awesome place to work and has quite a laid-back and fun atmosphere. So unsurprisingly, staff turnover is extremely low, and they haven’t had any staff leave in 4 years.
Who We're Looking For (i.e., About You...)
The salon does a lot of work with colour, balayage, root stretch, foil work and styling. So, ideally, they’re looking for a candidate who has experience in some (or all of those areas).
Preferably they're looking for someone with a minimum of a Cert 3 in hairdressing, but they would also consider a 3rd-year apprentice.
You should be someone who is friendly and fun, but who can also deal with a busy work environment.
And once again, they're open to hiring full-time, part-time or providing space to freelancers in the salon.
